The State Duma and the National Assembly of Vietnam are going to sign an agreement on the Inter-Parliamentary Commission on Cooperation, and this new format will help to achieve concrete results. Chairman of the State Duma Viacheslav Volodin told about this in an interview.
“ We consider the issue of establishment of a bilateral commission between the Parliament of Vietnam and the State Duma a very important and responsible decision of the development of relations at the parliamentary level,” Chairman of the State Duma said.
“We are reaching a new level of development within the parliamentary dimension. The work of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission should be dynamic, meetings should be held regularly, alternately in Russia and Vietnam.
It is also important to increase the flow of tourists between countries. Viacheslav Volodin indicated that 570 thousand Russian tourists visited Vietnam in 2017, and in 2020 this number could grow to 1 million. |
