The organizing committee informs about the holding of the Second International Industrial Exhibition “EXPO - RUSSIA IRAN 2024” and a Tehran business forum in Tehran from October 21 to 23, 2024 dedicated to the next anniversary of the entry into force of the Treaty on the Fundamentals of Relations and Principles of Cooperation between Russia and Iran. The decision to organize the next stage of the exhibition in a friendly state was made on the basis of the successful and productive holding of the first exhibition in October 2023 in Tehran.
The organizer on the Russian side is Zarubezh-Expo JSC, co-organizers on the Iranian side are the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST) and the International Science and Technology Park of Islamic Republic of Iran, on whose territory the data will take place Events. Support is provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Health of Russia, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and other line ministries and departments of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
At the exhibition it is planned to widely present the work of industrial zones and technology parks, investment projects of Russian regions, as well as innovative and high-tech products in IT technologies, energy, mechanical engineering, electronics industry, medical and pharmaceutical industries, agro-industrial complex, oil and gas, chemical and mining industries, aviation, railway and maritime transport and other industries.
The purpose of the exhibition in Tehran is to promote the strengthening of trade and economic ties, diversification of cooperation, promotion of export products of Russian enterprises to the markets of the Near and Middle East and, accordingly, Iranian goods to Russia.
Preparations are underway for an international conference on cooperation between Russia and Iran, “Ways for the development of interregional economic cooperation between Iran and Russia for the implementation of joint projects,” within the framework of the exhibition. Specialized round tables on the main areas of interaction, presentations of companies and regions, and an exchange of B2B contacts are planned. The implementation of such large-scale measures is motivated by the intensification of Russian-Iranian economic interaction at all levels.
Judging by the results of preliminary negotiations, our Iranian partners may be seriously interested in the products of Russian companies of various types. We believe that participation in the EXPO - RUSSIA IRAN 2024" and the Tehran business forum will be an effective opportunity to implement the long-term "Road Map" for export development for the period until 2030 within the framework of the national project "International Cooperation and Export".
